The three wise men traveled a long journey to visit a baby that they heard was a king. The king that was promised to the world as a Savior. This journey wasn't just a spur of the moment event. It was planned and thoughtfully prepared for. Gifts were packed, words were spoken and then preparations were made. We are like the wisemen when we allow our hearts to begin the preparation for the day of Christmas. This season of preparation is called Advent.
The "GRAND" element was intentional. Not only is this journey going to be grand, this material was designed for a "grand"person. A "grand" person is a grandmother, grandfather, grand mentor, or a person of influence in a child's life. ARE you GRAND? Do you know a Grand person who would partner in an Advent journey for a child?
At Legacy Church we kicked off the Grand Journey idea and had over 40 grands committing to this experience. The feedback was overwhelming! Kits were prepared for children ages 1-21 and sent via mail to states all over the USA. What a wonderful response.
Advent begins 25 days before Christmas day and is such a wonderful way to celebrate Jesus' birth! Purchase the Grand Journey Kit here. We will ship it to the grand person. Everything they need to continue this fun and interactive study is in the kit.
We pray that this material is a blessing to you and the recipient.
"What if?" This is a phrase Pastor Tammy Nielson and I find ourselves saying quite often when working together here at Legacy Church. What if families knew how to chase God's heart? What if kids knew His holy word by heart? What if parents had resources, renewal and inspiration to bring God home from church? What if ALL ages in the church could be in a D6 household?
Well, it's way overdue, but better late than never. Drum roll please...Introducing a journal of sorts to help ministers, mentors, parents, and my peeps answer their WHAT IF questions. I will share resources, ideas, inspirations, plans, dreams, and much more.
What if, this caught fire?
What if, it helped bring someone to God?
What if, it fills the gap?
My prayer is that it has, it is, and it will be.
God be with you, Cindi Williams
