We know your title, but how do you describe your role at Legacy Church?
I just like to keep all the behind the scenes things running smoothly, all those little things that most people don't even realize are being handled. Paying the bills, keeping the records, updating the data, etc. Anything that can help the pastors stay more focused on the ministries of the church and less burdened by the business of the church.
What is your favorite season?
Fall - it's the best! Cool Crisp air, tons of colors going on, soup, fires, and pumpkin everything... who wouldn't love that!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Except for a brief period when I wanted to own an alligator farm, I've always wanted to work in an office. I never played school, I always played office - with green-bar paper reports and fake phones and calculators... I guess I'm "living the dream".
Where is your happy place?
I have two: Anywhere with my family - but especially in the mountains. And....in my very messy, full of supplies, in-home art studio. Which is often also full of other people exploring their creativity too.
Kerri grew up in Ohio. Her dad's family owned a grocery store (so when she plays, "My grandfather owned a grocery store" - she means it!), and her mom's family owned a diary farm (so she really "gets" Nate's cow-jokes). Both of her parents as well as her younger sister are long-time church staff members. Kerri's husband Tim works in IT and is not only the smartest, but the funniest person she knows. Seth & Lex, her grown children, both live in Metro Atlanta. Lucy is her very neurotic rescue dog.
